We are very enthusiastic to burst the bubble as we are set to enter the new world of internships, which brings a new set of tribulations. Internships, as one says, is a temporary job before the actual job, you know wo ‘ Kachi Wali Naukri’ is our first-hand experience to the world which is unfamiliar and challenging too.
We do hit hard if it is our first internship so it important that we are all aware of the internship challenges that we are going to face and yes, of course, how are you going to deal with it. If you already know it there are better chances of handling them and taking the best out of your first experience into the practical world.
If you are thinking to do an internship in a media organization especially Indian TV Industry, then people will hardly notice you, bother about your learning process. You will mostly sit idle as no one will ever give you work on their own.
If you expect that people will give you work and you will learn then you are mistaken because everyone is so busy that they don’t have time to teach things to you. So you have to interact with the people there and ask for work. It is important that you take the initiative to learn work.
It may be quite likely that people will hand over little responsibilities to you. So don’t get disheartened or feel upset about it.
Don’t think any work as small. No one will give you bigger responsibilities initially you have to prove to them what you can do and a small opportunity is a gateway to the bigger opportunities.
Thousands of interns come and go and no one actually remembers them. You can waste your internship period in gossiping and no one will have any problem with it.
You will not get access to the work environment so easily so it is important that you utilize each and every moment productively.
The worst part of internships is that they are mostly unpaid but believe me experience of these internships really count so just go with it.
